We chose Jess for our wedding photographer because we wanted photos which felt candid and natural with a fine-art eye for composition, colour, and light. Neither of us are very comfortable in front of the camera, and so having an almost documentary-style photographer who didn't make us feel too "observed" was important. Jess delivered all of this and more - she captured the atmosphere, feeling, and aesthetic of the day perfectly while we barely noticed we were being papped. Our guests loved her so much that they have since sought her out to hire her for their own events. The photos are beautiful, timeless, and feel very true to us while maintaining Jess's photographic style (the reason we chose her!).

We chose Jess because her photos were natural and suited our low key family/Registry wedding. Both my husband and I do not particularly enjoy being in front of the camera but Jess made the time she was there with us feel relaxed. Our favourite part was watching Jess interact and have fun with our kids to keep them entertained and confidently direct us around the city to all the right spots for a shot. Looking back at the photos now, there are such a range of great candid shots of us and our families that we will cherish forever. As soon as we got engaged we dreamt of having Jess photograph our wedding. Her dreamy and authentic style perfectly suited how we envisioned our wedding day to feel. Of the many decisions we made for our wedding, hiring Jess was one of the best. She was cool, calm and collected on the day as well as loose, kind and gently persistent. She knew exactly what she needed to get and made it happen, navigating multiple locations and more than a hundred people to get the job done. Her photos captured both the euphoria and casual intimacy of the whole event. Not a staged or stilted pose in sight!
